Woodstock Books was founded in 1988 and published its first titles in 1989. In 2000 it became a limited company, jointly owned with the Yorkshire-based printer and binder Smith Settle. The directors are Kenneth Smith (Managing) and James Price (Editorial).

Printing and binding are carried out by Smith Settle. We use acid-free paper for long life. Books are sewn and bound in cloth to library standards, and blocked in gold on the spine. Jackets are usually simple and typographic, as illustrated on this site. All books are hardback unless otherwise stated.
